Yes! Our frameless glass balustrades at WPS Handrails are completely safe for your home, retail or commercial space. All of our glass balustrades are tested before entering the market to ensure they comply with BS 6180:2011 standards.

Frameless glass balustrades have an optional handrail and two channel types, we therefore cater the selection of glass type and thickness to ensure the load rating is compliant with UK safety regulations. We supply either toughened or laminated toughened glass, in sizes from 12mm to 21.52mm.

The OnLevel channel used in our frameless glass balustrade system has a "Top Mounted" option which can either installed at surface level or can be recessed, there is also a "Side Fix Mounted" option to provide an alternative for concealed applications.

Our Glass Balustrades are thoroughly tested for compliance with BS 6180:2011. Our choice of glass specification and balustrade structure provide load bearing to protect areas where the fall risk exceeds 600mm. Additionally our Balustrades are supplied at a minimum height of 1100mm for any external or commercial setting to ensure safety.
